Sad News about Patrice Pope

I’m sad to report that Patrice Pope, age 66, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 peacefully in Winter Garden, Florida surrounded by her family. She was born in 1957 in Chattanooga, graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Communications, and eventually moved to the Washington, DC area.

Patrice spent her career storytelling, capturing memories, communicating winning strategies, and caring for colleagues as a servant leader. She joined Price Waterhouse in 1994 as manager of the graphics design team within the OGS marketing department. She later worked with PwC’s MCS Human Resources and other talent initiatives. She joined IBM as part of the acquisition of PwC Consulting, then later worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, Cisco and Logitech as well as opened her own communications consulting firm. She worked with executives on branding, marketing communications, and internal communications strategies and initiatives.

Patrice is survived by her husband Robin and 3 children Kristin, Kelsey and Erick.

In lieu of a celebration service, Patrice’s family hopes all who loved her will gather here to share their favorite memories.

Sad News About Gary Ryan's Passing

Gary Ryan passed away while in hospice care on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was an auditor at Price Waterhouse's Office of Government Services and served on the reunion committee the past few year, but due to health reasons, was not able to attend the recent reunion held in June 2023.

Gary was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey and went to James Madison University. He joined Price Waterhouse as an auditor in August 1990 and was with the firm until 1994 when he went on to serve as a controller, senior recruiter, and business development executive for various companies like SpectrumCareers, Robert Half, SolomonEdwardsGroup and most recently Chess Consulting.

He is survived by his former wife Melissa Grubbs, also formerly with Price Waterhouse, and their two sons Tyler and Trevor Ryan. Gary was a great friend and colleague. Many remember him for his easy-going personality, his ability to strike up a conversation in any setting, and making everyone around him feel at ease and welcome.
