Reunion - Greetings and regrets from some who could not attend

  • Dale Rye - “ Unfortunately, I am going to miss this one.  I already have a commitment here in Austin that weekend. I hope you will share pictures this time like you did last time.   • Don DeLuca - “With retirement for Linda and I comes extended visits to our children and five grandchildren. So unfortunately, again this year we will be in Connecticut visiting with Damien and his three youngsters that weekend.  Say hello and best wishes to all for me.”
  • Doug Franke - “I was just in Washington…and passed by the old office on K Street. Fond memories. But I am sorry that I will not be able to return to DC…say hello to all of my old friends for me.”

OGS Friend Peter Mayberry Passes Away at 57

Peter G. Mayberry, 57, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2018 at his home in Washington, D.C. on natural causes. Peter worked at Price Waterhouse from 1983 to 1989 in the Governmental Affairs office, often interacting with and guiding OGS consultants on legislative issues that affected Federal clients and projects.

Whlie at PW, Peter co-created the PW Partners Politial Action Committee. He assisted with the implementation of legislative, regulatory and international trade agendas for the U.S. arm of PW, representing the firm's interests before Congress and appropriate regulatory agencies. Peter was an authority on the political process and the U.S. government through a legislative affairs career that spanned 35 years. His private company, Mayberry & Associates, successfully worked with several trade groups advocating for various legislative causes.

Born September 14, 1961, Peter was a lifelong resident of the Washington metropolitan area. He completed the United States House of Representatives Page Program in 1978, later attending The George Washington University and the College of William and Mary where he earned a bachelor's degree in government. He later completed a master's degree in legislative affairs from The George Washington University.

Survivors include a daughter, Hannah Mayberry of Philadelphia, and a son, George Mayberry of Reston, VA.
